Journal: Week twelve...

Getting bigger and playing with Daddy.

Grow, Grow, Grow
Run, Run, Run
See Nuala Run
See Aoife Run over Liam
See Aoife Run over Liam again
Hear Liam bark
Hear Aoife bark
Hear Nuala bark
Hear Alana bark too

Ian loves to play with the puppies, who seem to think that Daddy is pretty okay too. The puppies still need to be watched carefully when they interact with the larger dogs, due to the size difference and the puppies' growing bones.

The puppies now each weigh between 35 and 41 pounds. They run and play and make deep barks. They also do other things, lots of other things but we are not out of paper yet!

The puppies are going through "stages" (think toddlers!) at a rapid rate, as their personalities evolve. Physically, each member of the litter is distinct, each with their own unique beauty and expressions, as you can see in the week twelve gallery.

It's been an amazing process, these last 12 weeks. Here's a little look at puppy love, into which we've fallen deep. (Note: you need Flash to view this linked page; you can download the free player at Macromedia.)

This is the end of the journal of the first 12 weeks of the puppies' lives. We will post updates when something memorable happens, or monthly, more or less.
